Rosehip Powder vs Capsules:
Which Should You Choose?

Short answer: choose rosehip powder if you like mixing it into breakfast and want the lowest cost per day. Choose rosehip capsules if you want something quick, tasteless and easy to take on the go. With SUKOFLEX®, both formats are made from the same organic AP-4® Rosa canina rosehip, so the choice is mostly about your routine.

Key takeaways

  • Both SUKOFLEX® formats use the same standardised, organic AP-4® rosehip.
  • Powder: one 5 g scoop a day, mixed into food or drinks.
  • Capsules: 3 capsules twice a day with water.
  • Powder costs less per day; capsules are easier when you travel or eat on the run.
  • The best format is the one you will take every day.

Same rosehip, two formats

Rosehip powder is made by drying and milling the fruit of the wild rose. SUKOFLEX® uses AP-4®, a standardised Rosa canina rosehip grown organically in southern Chile and made from the seed and fruit shell. The capsules simply contain the same powder in a vegan capsule shell. Both formats also include a small amount of acerola (Malpighia glabra), a natural source of vitamin C.

Choose capsules if…

  • you are often away from home, at work or travelling
  • you prefer no taste at all
  • you want a fixed, pre-measured amount without a scoop

A tip: split the capsules between breakfast and dinner, as the directions suggest, so they become part of two habits you already have.

Consistency matters more than format

Rosehip is not a quick fix. Like most food-based supplements, it is taken daily over weeks, so the format you will actually remember is the right one. Many people keep the powder at home and a pack of capsules in their bag or at work.
