Molecular biologist · Co-founder of SUKO Nordic · Scientific reviewer
Monica is a molecular biologist and a Max Planck PhD graduate. Together with Peter Kristoffersen, she founded the family's first rosehip company in 2008 and SUKO Nordic ApS in Denmark in 2016. Guided by science from the start, they developed the Rosa canina AP-4® cultivar, grown organically in the volcanic soils of Southern Chile.
What Monica reviews
Monica reviews the articles on our blog for scientific accuracy before they are published and when they are updated. She checks that what we write about rosehip and joint support matches the research we cite, and that we are clear about what each study looked at, for example whether it was done in people or in animals.
